Delete your Reality Registry account.
You can request deletion of your Reality Registry account at any time. This page explains exactly what we delete, what we cannot delete, and how to make the request.
How to request deletion
Email info@realityregistry.com from the address you used to sign in to the app. Include the word "delete" in the subject line so we can find it quickly.
We will process the request within 30 days and email you a confirmation when it's complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account record (the Firebase identifier linking your Google account to your registrations).
- Your subscription record (tier, billing status).
- The linkage between your account and any photos or videos you registered, so future searches cannot tie those registrations back to you.
- The watermarked copies of your media stored on our servers (if you have not already shared them publicly).
What we cannot delete
Reality Registry writes a cryptographic Merkle root for each registered photo or video to the Polygon public blockchain. The blockchain is permanent, public, and operated by an open network — no single party can delete an entry from it. These records remain after account deletion:
- The Merkle root and lookup key written on chain.
- The pseudonymous transaction record showing that a photo or video was registered.
After deletion, these records cannot be tied back to your account. The original photos and videos themselves are never written to the blockchain — only their cryptographic fingerprints.
